Here are some examples of how your monetary donations help our organization and the women we support:
- $10,000 provides one year of maintenance, upkeep and expenses for one Lighthouse cottage
- $5,000 provides one woman one month of intensive residential treatment
- $3,500 provides one family comprehensive treatment and housing
- $2,500 provides one woman and her children six months of transitional housing
- $1,000 provides one family three months of family therapy
- $500 provides one child one month of childcare
- $350 provides groceries for one family for one month
- $250 provides one safe & sober community or creative group activity for STEP2 women & children
- $100 provides diapers for one family for one month
- $50 provides a bus pass for one month
- $35 provides one month supply of baby formula

Donating Items
We are currently accepting gently used clothing and home items. Donors can donate up to three (3) bags or boxes per drop-off.
We are accepting donations of women’s clothing and household items – up to 3 bags or boxes per donation. Donations can be dropped off M-F between 8:30 and 5:00.

RoundUp
The RoundUp App allows you to automatically donate the change from your credit or debit card transactions. Once you create an account, you do not need to use the app while making a purchase. Just swipe your card as usual.
Frequently Asked Questions
How secure is this app?
The RoundUp app is completely secure as none of the financial information comes to them at all and they do not have access to it. They use Stripe for credit card processing, Plaid for banking connection (this authorizes the “round ups” to take place), and Amazon Web Services for data security. Amazon Web Services is SOC 1, 2 & 3 compliant and the app is PCI level 1 compliant. Stripe is the same payment processor used by Amazon, so if anyone has made a purchase through Amazon, they’ve used Stripe – it’s no different.
Does it show on my statement each month and from who?
Donations made through the app show on a donor’s statement the last day of every month – this is when Stripe deducts it from their credit/debit account. It will show up on their statement as a direct donation to STEP2 and should look something like “$____ donation to STEP2”.
Is it on every charge that I complete on the card(s) I register?
Yes, round ups will occur on every charge made with the registered card. This includes bills that come out of that account, online purchases, etc.
PRIVACY POLICY
STEP2 places a high priority on protecting your privacy and will never share personal information with third parties. We use your personal information to provide you with personalized service, to send you e-mails or texts (if you have opted in), to answer your requests and to process your donation. You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease all communications from us.
STEP2 will never provide, sell, or rent email addresses or cell phone numbers to anyone outside the organization.
We may also use your information to track visitor of our website. This lets us see which of our features are the most popular so we can better serve our users needs. It also lets us provide aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how many visitors used which features, for example) to outside parties nor do we store information collected about your visit to this website for use other than to analyze content performance through the use of cookies, which you can turn off at any time by modifying your Internet browser’s settings.
