STEP2 is fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with Ares BJJ, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program that offers classes exclusively for women—a valuable option for women who have survived trauma at the hands of men. Jiu Jitsu, meaning “the gentle art” in Japanese, teaches fighting with position, leverage, and humility. We are currently looking for sponsors to help cover the costs of these classes.
