STEP2 relies very heavily on community support to assist us in our efforts to save lives and restore families.
To help meet our financial goals each year, we plan and execute two main STEP2 events: our Annual Golf Tournament & our Jingle & Mingle Gala.
In addition to these main STEP2 events, we are honored to be the recipient of several other events throughout the year.
STEP2’s Jingle & Mingle Gala
December 6, 2019 • Peppermill Resort Spa Casino • Black Tie Optional
Our year ends with a spectacular celebration of our community’s spirit of giving, our Jingle & Mingle Gala.

BANN2Gether Cottage Makeover Project
The Builders Association of Northern Nevada (BANN) and its charitable arm, the Builders Association Charity (BAC), have partnered with local non-profit STEP2 for the 3rd Annual Cottage Makeover. This program helps revitalize homes on STEP2’s campus being used by Reno-area women who are recovering from chemical dependency.
“Seeing the bravery of these women, coming to get the help they need, in a community we helped build and to see the association giving back to the cause has created such empathy that we want to continue giving back and ask others in the community to step up and help fight these addictions and mental health issues,” said Don Tatro, Chief Executive Officer of BANN.
Northern Nevada builders, subcontractors and suppliers have come together once again to completely remodel four cottages. Construction has begun on the cottages and the unveiling is set for Sept. 20.
The Lullaby Project Reno
The Lullaby Project Reno brings together NMTS music therapists, Reno Phil musicians, and Tanglewood Productions to support women in recovery as they write, orchestrate, perform, and record lullabies for their children.
Lullaby Project Reno is one of 25 international partner sites of the Carnegie Lullaby Project.
