TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
The Lighthouse Campus
(9-12 months) | A bridge to a brighter future
When a woman completes residential treatment, she can opt to move into transitional housing on STEP2’s Lighthouse Campus, where her children can move in with her. Our Lighthouse Campus consists of a total of 25 fully-furnished, recently remodeled 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom cottages on campus. Residents tend to our community garden, pay rent on a staggered schedule that can be personalized to their needs, take part in our Employment Development Program, and get to maintain their family unit in a safe place—all while continuing on-campus therapy as part of our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
After a woman completes her residential program, she may opt to stay in our Transitional Housing, where she will be reunited with her children and continue to receive support and therapy that prepare her for reentry into the real world:
A 9-12 month stay in 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom cottages on our campus
Continued on-campus therapy
Children can live with their mothers
Initial free rent followed by a staggered rent plan that allows residents to develop a rental history
Employment assistance + job-interview preparation and transportation
Participation in community garden
Residents may take all furnishings with them upon completion of the program
Not just recovery—lasting change that leads to a better life.
